About the role

Venture BMH is hiring Registered Nurses for a detox and residential addiction treatment program in Millbury, MA. We're hiring across all shifts, so whether you're a morning person or a night owl, there's a spot for you. You'll be caring for adults going through medically monitored withdrawal and early recovery, working alongside a team of nurses, clinicians, and medical providers who actually like what they do.

If you've been thinking about getting out of hospital floor nursing, or you already know addiction medicine is your thing, this is a good spot to land. Smaller caseloads than a med-surg floor, real relationships with patients, and work that matters.

What you'll do

Complete nursing assessments on admission and throughout the stay
Monitor withdrawal using CIWA and COWS and respond to changes in condition
Administer and document medications, including detox protocols and MAT
Take and track vital signs and communicate concerns to the medical team
Supervise and support LPNs and behavioral health techs on your shift
Educate patients on medications, withdrawal, and recovery
Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Help keep the unit safe, calm, and running smoothly

What you need

Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing
CPR/BLS certification
At least 1 year of RN experience
Detox, addiction treatment, psych, or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with withdrawal management and working with a population in early recovery
Calm under pressure and good at building trust with patients
